To fully redesign a well-established ecosystem, we have to do intensive user testing, by cohorting multiple users into testing environments, consisting of prototypes dedicated to gather feedback on highly-targeted features that would enhance the current UX, but at the same time still offer the users the feeling that they don't need to re-learn all of the fundamentals of the project.
